Abstract This open-access release provides an emic grammar note on selected morphosyntactic and pragmatic constructions in Jiepai speech, a local Sinitic speech variety from the Wu-Jianghuai contact zone in Jiepai, Danyang, Jiangsu, China. The file is prepared as a grammar appendix to the Jiepai Jianghu section of the Chuanyue archive, an emic vernacular multimodal archive created by a native insider. The note documents selected structures in grammar, syntax, aspect, disposal, passive-related expression, locative marking, shared-use constructions, degree expression, and pragmatic usage. It includes notes on ge marking; completion-question and negative-completion forms such as geng and beng; aspectual distinctions related to Mandarin le and zhe; na disposal constructions; ha / bo constructions across passive, giving, and marriage-related contexts; locative suffixes; go shared-use constructions; yanlian parallel-action structures; degree adverbs and ironic intensification; and locative lai2 / A patterns. The document is based on the Archive Author's native-speaker knowledge and ongoing documentation of Jiepai speech. It does not present a complete grammar, final character standardization, final IPA transcription, phonetic analysis, or ELAN alignment. Phonetic, tonal, and character-form notes marked as provisional or pending verification are retained as research openings rather than resolved conclusions. Authorship and deposit roles are separate. The Archive Author, The Jiepai Archivist, is the creator, archive owner, rights holder, and public contact person. The uploader provides curatorial and deposit assistance only and is not the author, creator, archive owner, rights holder, or public contact for this archive.

These datasets were collected using a total of 585 Armadillidium vulgare females. The objective of this study was to measure survival after immune priming with Salmonella enterica , using different doses and inactivation methods, and to characterise the underlying cellular mechanisms using flow cytometry. Survival analysis according to S. enterica method of inactivation and dosage Survival after injection of a lethal dose of live S. enterica was measured after immune priming using bacteria inactivated by heat (HK) or paraformaldehyde (PFA) and two different doses (10^3 and 10^6). This allowed to collect the Dataset_survival.csv, analysed using the Script_survival_analysis.R. This slide deck presents an update to the global SAF production capacity outlook out to 2030, published in February 2026 (https://zenodo.org/records/18618012), and to our last paper ( The potential scale-up of sustainable aviation fuels production capacity to meet global and EU policy targets , published in Nature Communications in 2025, https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-025-66686-9), where we explored how far SAF production capacity falls short of the industry's ambition. We quantified SAF production capacity by developing the Global SAF Capacity Database, which contains data on companies that produce or plan to produce SAF. This data was sourced from public announcements between 2013 and 2024. Here, we update the SAF global production capacity outlook to 2030, based on new data collected up until the end of June 2026.

The Vinča symbol corpus of Neolithic southeastern Europe and the Indus script of the Harappan civilization are among the most prominent undeciphered sign systems of the ancient world. Despite extensive cataloging of both corpora, direct structural comparison between the two symbol inventories has received relatively limited systematic attention. This working paper presents preliminary observations indicating the presence of multiple morphological correspondences between Vinča signs and Indus script symbols. Several compound signs appear nearly identical or structurally similar across the two corpora, including configurations involving enclosed elements, internal modifiers, and composite geometric constructions. In addition to these graphical correspondences, the study proposes a structural framework for understanding the internal organization of Indus inscriptions. Evidence suggests that many inscriptions may be organized around paired-base formations, in which two independently attested primary symbols function together as the dominant structural unit within the sequence. Alongside these formations, a second category of modified-base constructions appears in which a primary sign is accompanied by smaller modifying elements that refine or qualify its meaning. Some of these modifying elements also occur independently elsewhere in the corpus, indicating that the script may contain polyfunctional graphemes capable of operating both as independent signs and as dependent modifiers. Preliminary examination of sign distribution patterns further suggests that certain modifiers exhibit restricted positional behavior within inscriptions, appearing primarily adjacent to base signs rather than in initial positions. This pattern is structurally consistent with writing systems in which dependent elements function analogously to vowel markers or reduced syllabic components, while the dominant base signs encode primary lexical or semantic units. Under this interpretation, Indus inscriptions may combine compound base pairings with internally modified graphemes, producing a layered compositional structure. The analysis further demonstrates that comparable compound configurations can be produced through the recombination of independently occurring Vinča symbols, suggesting that both traditions employ similar principles of graphic composition. These observations encourage further quantitative and contextual analysis of the structural organization of early Eurasian symbolic traditions. Current methods for the thermal characterization of façade elements typically rely on costly heat-flux sensors, controlled indoor conditions, and long monitoring campaigns. This study presents a surrogate-assisted inverse framework for digital thermal characterization in façade testing facilities. To this end, two main contributions are introduced. First, long short-term memory (LSTM) metamodels were developed, trained on ten years of high-resolution EnergyPlus simulations, to reproduce the dynamic thermal response of opaque and transparent façade elements from environmental boundary conditions together with measured surface and air temperatures. Second, these metamodels were integrated with a genetic algorithm to estimate thermal conductivity from short monitoring windows. Unlike conventional quasi-steady or heat-flux-based inverse methods, the proposed framework enables characterization under fully free-running conditions without requiring controlled indoor environments, sustained temperature gradients, or direct heat-flux measurements, thereby reducing instrumentation requirements, energy demand, and testing complexity. The methodology was demonstrated on a modular façade testing facility in Valladolid (Spain) and evaluated across multiple façade configurations. The LSTM metamodels achieved high predictive accuracy relative to EnergyPlus, with worst-case RMSE below 0.175°C for opaque elements and 0.220 ° C for transparent elements over 1.4 million unseen data points. Forty-eight characterization runs covering four materials and twelve months showed robust conductivity estimates. Additional evaluation using independent free-running experimental data from Salta (Argentina) further supported the applicability of the framework under different climatic conditions, including low-gradient cases where conductivity identifiability is more challenging.

Collatz-Thwaites-Ulam-Hasse-Syracuse-Kakutani (CTUHSK) Theorem : Convergence of Collatz (3n+1) Sequence to the Trivial Cycle Proved © Dr.(Prof.) Keshava Prasad Halemane, Professor - retired (2017JAN31) from Department of Mathematical And Computational Sciences, National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal, Srinivasnagar, Mangaluru - 575025, India. https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3483-3521 Independent Researcher (no affiliations; no funding; no data used; no conflict of interests) SASHESHA, 8-129/12 Sowjanya Road, Naigara Hills, Bikarnakatte, Kulshekar Post, Mangaluru-575005. Karnataka State, India https://www.linkedin.com/in/keshavaprasadahalemane/ k.prasad.h@gmail.com Abstract This paper presents the Collatz-Thwaites-Ulam-Hasse-Syracuse-Kakutani (CTUHSK) theorem, which asserts the convergence of the Collatz (3n+1) Sequence to the trivial cycle {(1⇐2⇐4)}; thereby proving the Collatz Conjecture, a long-standing unsolved problem. The proof is in two parts. The necessary condition is provided by the order-isomorphism established between the relevant component H s (with an invariant-base-element) of a structured system framework H and the set of positive integers. The structured system framework H itself has been designed by a two-stage bijective mapping: (1) from the Collatz-domain to BELnet, that is the network of binary exponential ladders defined on the set of positive odd numbers; and (2) from BELnet to the structured system framework H. The sufficient condition is provided by a reductio-ad-absurdum argument (along with an exceptionally unique modular arithmetic characteristic property of the Collatz system) that is used to demonstrate domain exhaustion; having already captured all the modular residue classes in H s ; logically excluding the existence of any extraneous elements or objects or sub-systems such as disjoint loops/cycles H ¥ and/or divergent chains H & or even any/all non-standard objects, in H. An independent definitive proof is presented based on an exact representation of the Collatz system dynamics; using a dynamically evolving graded algebraic structure of ideal based filtration scheme with divisibility classes for modulo-3 quotient semiring generated by the primitive root 2; along with a filtration shifting global affine transformation f(x)=(3x+1) when x is a positive odd number; for achieving a Euclidean expansion shift to the coprime layer; avoiding the modulo-multiple-layer and also all the nilpotent layers; the trivial-cycle {(1 ⇐ 2 ⇐ 4)} being bypassed by an initialization-phase for the filtration scheme, starting with directly the modul-9 coprime-layer. Some directions for possible future research work on algorithmic, computational characteristics of the Collatz system have also been presented. A situation has been identified wherein the emergence of global system properties through persistent local subsystem characteristics can be clearly demonstrated; Halemane Conjecture states that the maximum number of odd (3n+1) operations required to reach the trivial cycle {(1⇐2⇐4)} starting from any given positive integer and moving along the Collatz sequence, is limited by that given number itself; with the triad {(31⇐41⇐27)} as an exceptional limiting case. Keywords: Binary-Exponential-Ladder; Modular-Periodicity; Arborescence; CTUHSK-Theorem; CTUHSK-Generative-Parameters; Collatz-Thwaites-Ulam-Hasse-Syracuse-Kakutani (CTUHSK) Sequence; Collatz-Thwaites-Ulam-Hasse-Syracuse-Kakutani (CTUHSK) Conjecture; Order-isomorphism; Dedekind-Peano Axioms; Convergence; Halemane-Conjecture. AMS MSC Mathematics Subject Classification: 11B83; 11Y55; 93A05; 93A99. Conclusion We established a two stage bijective mapping from the Collatz-domain to a meticulously designed structured system framework H with a careful reorganization & condensation :- in the first stage, a bijective mapping from the Collatz-domain to BELnet, that is the network of Binary-Exponential-Ladders defined on the set of positive odd numbers; and then in the second stage, a bijective mapping from BELnet to the structured system framework H. Then we established the order-isomorphism between the relevant component H s (that is shown to be a well-ordered infinite linear sequence; or rather a hierarchy; or indeed an arborescence of the Binary-Exponential-Ladders having its root; with the invariant base element H 0 of the structured system framework H) and the set of positive integers; providing the necessary condition. A sufficient condition is provided through a reductio-ad-absurdum argument (along with an exceptionally unique modular arithmetic characteristic property of the Collatz system) that establishes domain exhaustion ; having already captured all the modular (MOD3) residue classes in H s ; and guarantees the non-existence of any extraneous objects like disjoint loops/cycles and/or divergent chains. Since the Collatz (3n+1) Conjecture is restricted to the set of natural numbers, the existence of any non-standard 'rogue' and/or 'ghost' elements are of no concern here. The entire dynamics of the Collatz (3n+1) system has been captured in a dynamically evolving graded algebraic structure of ideal based filtration scheme with divisibility classes for modulo-3 quotient semiring generated by the primitive root 2; along with a filtration shifting global affine transformation for a Euclidean expansion shift to the topmost coprime layer of that filtration scheme, avoiding the modulo-multiple-layer (zero layer) and also all the nilpotent layers with nilpotent elements (dead-end zero-divisors) like (6m-3) and (6m-0). The trivial cycle {(1⇐2⇐4)} is bypassed by an initialization phase for the filtration scheme, starting with directly the modul-9 coprime layer. This design for the system dynamics framework by itself provides an independent definitive proof of the Collatz conjecture, establishing that the entire map of the Collatz system dynamics is exactly represented by this novel algebraic structure defined by the set of all positive integers; neither missing any natural number nor including any extraneous elements; and therefore, providing both the necessary & sufficient condition simultaneously in one single sweep. As a direction towards future research work, we have also presented a possible alternative approach in proving this convergence, using modular arithmetic for the conditions to be satisfied by the CTUHSK generative parameters or equivalently the exponents in a closed-form expression for generating the reverse Collatz sequence corresponding to any given positive odd number. It is observed that the consistent & persistent application of the modular arithmetic characteristics associated with the local neighborhood of BELnet imposed by the CTUHSK function gives rise to the emergence of the global system property associated with the structured system framework that forms an arborescence (hierarchy) of BELnet. This leads to an upper limit on the depth in the arborescence or the rank/level in the hierarchy that one needs to analyse in order to reach for the existence of a binary-exponential-ladder with the desired positive odd number as its defining base rung in BELnet. Halemane Conjecture states that the maximum number of odd (3n+1) operations required to reach the trivial cycle {(1⇐2⇐4)} starting from any given positive integer and moving along the Collatz sequence, is limited by that given number itself; with the triad {(31⇐41⇐27)} as an exceptional limiting case.

Introduction Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) is one of the main public health threats of the 21st century. Half of the people with DM2 worldwide are not diagnosed. The high prevalence, underdiagnosis and complications of diabetes highlight the need for identifying people at risk. Sedentary behaviour (SB) or prolonged sitting is a major predisposing risk factor for the increasing prevalence of DM2. Incorporating SB measures into clinical practice systems for identifying individuals more likely to have DM2 should be considered. Objective To develop a mathematical model for clinical practice that allows early identification of office employees at risk of DM2 based on objective data on SB. Methods A cross-sectional study with a cross-validation procedure was conducted. Anthropometric variables (sex, age and body mass index , BMI), sleep time (hours; measured by ActivPAL3M devices), and SB patterns (sedentary breaks and time spent in sedentary bouts of four different lengths; measured by ActivPAL3M devices) of two groups of office employees (adults with and without diabetes) were compared. Eighty-one participants had DM2 and 132 had normal glucose metabolism (NGM). The risk of having DM2 was modelled using generalized linear models (GLM), particularly a logistic regression model. Results Five non-invasive clinical variables that were significantly correlated to DM2 with no collinearity were included in the mathematical model: sex, age, BMI, sleep time (hours) and sedentary breaks < 20 minutes (number/day). The validated model correctly classified 94.58 % of the participants with DM2 and 97.99 % of participants with NGM. The sensitivity was 94.58 % and the specificity 97.99 %. Additionally, the model allowed the design of a preventive tool to recommend changes in the SB pattern based on the participant's anthropometric profile, aiming to reduce the risk of developing DM2 in office employees. Conclusion This study highlights the importance of incorporating SB measures in primary care clinical practice. Our mathematical model suggests that including SB could enhance the early identification of adults at risk of DM2. Further research is needed to validate these findings and assess the practical application of the mathematical model in clinical practice.

Background: Evans syndrome is a rare autoimmune hematological disorder characterized by the simultaneous or sequential occurrence of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) and immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), with or without autoimmune neutropenia. The condition is often chronic and relapsing, posing significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to its heterogeneous clinical presentation and association with various autoimmune and immunological disorders. Case Presentation: A 32-year-old female presented with progressive fatigue, generalized weakness, easy bruising, gum bleeding, and intermittent jaundice. Clinical examination revealed pallor, scleral icterus, petechiae, ecchymoses, and mild splenomegaly. Laboratory investigations demonstrated severe anemia, thrombocytopenia, reticulocytosis, elevated lactate dehydrogenase, indirect hyperbilirubinemia, and a positive direct antiglobulin test, confirming autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Extensive evaluation excluded secondary causes, including autoimmune diseases, infections, and hematological malignancies. Based on the clinical and laboratory findings, a diagnosis of primary Evans syndrome was established. The patient was treated with prednisolone, intravenous immunoglobulin, packed red blood cell transfusions, platelet transfusion, and supportive therapy, resulting in significant clinical and hematological improvement. Conclusion: This case emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis, exclusion of secondary causes, and prompt initiation of immunosuppressive therapy in Evans syndrome. Although favorable outcomes can be achieved with appropriate treatment, long-term follow-up is essential because of the disease's chronic relapsing nature. Individualized management and multidisciplinary care remain key to improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

This paper presents a completion-locked proof of four-dimensional Yang-Mills existence and the mass gap for compact simple gauge groups. The proof is source-first rather than action-first: Yang-Mills dynamics enter through locked connection-curvature source variables, curvature-energy density, determinant/response structure, source-forced Ward fields, and the finite reflection-positive Euclidean source functional before physical-sector recognition. The directed source-system theorem produces the analytic-spectral carrier, canonical quotient, determinant channel, phase-current and scale relations, endpoint-eta classification, Euclidean Schwinger state, local gauge-invariant curvature fields, nontrivial local sector, reconstruction record, and physical recognition record as invariant outcomes of one completion-locked source system. The proof proceeds through a sequence of mathematically determined freedom removals. Completion lock removes independent normalization freedom; canonical factorization identifies the unique admissible realization class; exact quotienting separates protected topological payload from movable residual data; source-forced phase-current admissibility and dyadic-nome no-retuning determine the admissible phase and scale comparisons; and a single determinant channel unifies heat, response, relative zeta, and eta structures. Supersymmetric quantum-mechanical (SUSY-QM) admissibility localizes movable nonzero spectral drift to protected kernel and index data, while endpoint-eta closure resolves the residual channel by exact quotient descent, protected payload, or specified obstruction. The Euclidean object is identified algebraically before reconstruction. The finite reflection-positive source functional produces the gauge-descended Schwinger state on the cylindrical observable algebra, with projective consistency, reflection positivity, Euclidean covariance, and uniqueness established at the source level. Local gauge-invariant curvature-field distributions and a nontrivial local curvature sector are obtained before Osterwalder-Schrader reconstruction. Reconstruction then yields the physical Hilbert space, vacuum, positive time-translation generator, local Wightman fields, and the physical Hamiltonian extracted from the reconstructed time-translation semigroup. The source-produced lower frame transfers to the physical Hamiltonian on the orthogonal complement of the vacuum. The main theorem establishes a strictly positive mass gap for every compact simple gauge group within the completion-locked framework: Δ_YM,G = inf Spec(H_YM,G | Ω_G^⊥) ≥ γ_G > 0. For the physically relevant case of SU(3), gauge descent and invariant endpoint contraction identify the physical color sector as the center-neutral singlet-survivor sector: non-singlet color information becomes physically unobservable, while singlet survivors generate the recognized physical observables. The physical quantum theory is therefore identified as the unique admissible realization of a fixed completion-locked Yang-Mills source system. A diagnostic appendix verifies that the gauge-bundle layer of the completion-locked architecture specializes correctly to the minimal nontrivial U(1) Dirac monopole bundle. Yang-Mills theorem sequence note: This paper is part of three successive stages of a single Yang-Mills theorem program. Each paper answers a distinct mathematical question: What is the Yang-Mills source? Which part of that source defines the physical color sector? How is that physical sector realized as a four-dimensional quantum theory with a strictly positive mass gap? (current paper) The first paper, The Yang-Mills Color Datum: A Finite-Graph Recognition Theorem for Gauge Descent, Holonomy Response, and Physical Color Recognition , identifies the Yang-Mills source datum through gauge descent, holonomy response, invariant contraction, and survivor factorization. The second paper, Color Confinement as Gauge-Survivor Closure: A Finite-Graph Theorem for Physical Color-Sector Closure , acts on this source datum and proves that the physically observable scalar color sector is exactly the center-neutral singlet-survivor sector. The third paper, A Completion-Locked Proof of Four-Dimensional Yang-Mills Existence and Mass Gap for Compact Simple Gauge Groups , then acts on the resulting Yang-Mills source system and determines the corresponding four-dimensional quantum realization. It proves that the gauge-invariant observable algebra, Euclidean Schwinger state, local gauge-invariant curvature-field distributions, reconstructed physical Hilbert space, positive Hamiltonian, and strictly positive mass gap are invariant outcomes of the same Yang-Mills source system.

Abstract Happiness has gained prominence worldwide in assessing well-being. In this context, the investigation of happiness seems particularly relevant to BRICS not only because economic growth tends to be underscored at the risk of other important aspects of our living as with developed nations, but also because its impact on happiness would be represented more revealingly in its transition. As much as economic growth does not move together with happiness, it is essential to examine how happiness has been affected in the emerging economies. This chapter will as a result review the past publications on happiness in BRICS comprehensively and elicit some lessons. Although each country has unique features and determinants of happiness, some commonality will be found in the similar stage of economic development. More broadly, some convergence will be also found between the determinants of happiness over time (subjective assessments) and the requirements typically set for a good living (objective assessments).

ABSTRACT In The Idea of Justice , Amartya Sen revealingly differentiates his capability approach from the mainstream in terms of structure: comparative vis-à-vis transcendental. Instead of constructing models based on fundamental principles and questing for perfection, Sen seeks to compare feasible options and to choose one from among them. What lies behind this strategy is respect for a plurality of values and reasoning in society. In this context, description plays a key role in this approach, given that plural values and reasoning can be reflected only in an inductive manner which requires rich description. The purpose of this article is to examine how Sen's approach is related to the Cambridge tradition, which typically embraces inductive methods of reasoning, with a particular focus on the influence of Maurice Dobb. In relation to this, some possible extensions of his approach will be discussed.
